This role is onsite and requires current residence in Cleveland, Ohio

Summary:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst – Networking & Cyber Security to join our Network Infrastructure Team at Ohio Machinery Co. This individual plays a key role as a senior technical contributor in supporting and securing our enterprise network and infrastructure environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats across network, endpoint, and email systems
- Support vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and security audits
- Investigate security incidents and assist with root cause analysis
- Help maintain incident response and disaster recovery processes
- Network & Infrastructure Support
- Maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring availability and performance
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, firewall configurations, and VPN access
- Support core infrastructure components including routers, switches, and servers
- Systems & Platform Management
- Support Microsoft 365 services and related security configurations
- Manage system patching and updates using tools such as Intune, KACE, and Group Policy
- Troubleshoot system, backup, and endpoint issues across the environment
- Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, including system upgrades and network expansion
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable solutions
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance security and operational efficiency
- Collaboration & Support
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues and provide guidance to other IT team members
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support infrastructure initiatives
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- Required:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity roles
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise systems support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and networks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Preferred:
- Industry certifications (networking, security, or cloud)
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls or Cisco networking/security platforms
- Familiarity with XDR, phishing detection, or security monitoring tools
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or compliance audits
- Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise environments
